Mary Varner

Mary has been married to Dr. Ivory L. Varner, the Senior Pastor of Bible Way Fellowship Baptist Church for over 37 years and is the mother of two children, Catina and Ivory and one Son-in-law Rev. Kerry Shelton. She really finds joy in being a grandmother of three super great, granddaughters Saria , Kayla, and Adrianna and super great, grandsons Kerry, Kelon and Ivory.

Mary is a much sought after speaker and teacher in many areas. She and her husband travel inside the country and outside the country training Leaders and their wives for ministry in the local Churches. Mary is the Director of the Ladies Ministry and Deaconess Program. She is a speaker/teacher for Women and Children’s Conferences, Retreats and Church programs. Mary is the founder of the “Woman-Up” Institute at BWFBC.   Mary is dedicated to a Ministry to Senior Pastors’ Wives. She has ministered to women both inside and outside of the United States giving women a message of hope and deliverance. Mary also serves as the CEO for Vika Ministry, a ministry that develops Church Leaders in relationship.

Mary loves the Lord and is dedicated to ministry. She believes that if her ways please the Lord, He will make even her enemies be at peace with her. She spends her days pleasing the Lord.
